Northern Fulmar
Fulmar glacialis

Many of the birds that escorted our vessel were fulmars. This individual got overeager for fishy bits and landed on the deck. They need a long runway to get into the air, so it was unable to take off until Erika picked it up and tossed it over the side into the water. Several more were grounded on the deck after our one night of rough weather.
