What is the banquet?
The EWI banquet is a fully catered dinner following Evening with Industry.
What is the purpose of the banquet?
The EWI banquet is your opportunity to converse with industry representatives in a more relaxed setting. No standing in line, no crowds, just you seated at a table with other industry representatives and approximately 6 other students. The banquet also provides an opportunity for UW SWE to recognize outstanding female students from each of the engineering disciplines on campus.
Who will be in attendance at the banquet?
Most companies attending the career fair will be sending at least two representatives to the banquet dinner and many companies purchase additional dinner tickets so that more than two representatives can attend. Joining the industry representatives will be invited students from the career fair, as well as guests from the college of engineering, outstanding female engineering students, UW SWE officers, and EWI volunteers.

What food will be served at the banquet?
Each dinner will include a seasonal salad, fresh bread, a choice from three different entrees (one of which will be vegetarian), dessert, and beverages (usually water, iced tea, and coffee).
How do I get an invitation to the banquet?
Attending the banquet dinner is free for students, but you must be invited to attend by a company at the career fair. Companies attending the career fair will be purchasing student tickets to the banquet dinner and distributing these tickets during the day at their career fair booth.
**This year, companies will be allowed access to students resumes a week before Evening with Industry and may invite students early, so make sure you submit your resume. For more information, go to About Resume Database.
