I am a Ph D candidate (Ph C) currently pursuing dissertation research on the politics of interstate water disputes in India. A brief note about this research is here. My research interests are: Development studies, Transboundary resource conflicts; State, society and democratization in South Asia.

I had my earlier degrees in civil engineering and environmental planning, and worked for ten years in wide ranging areas related to - broadly, development planning and environmental management.
