Ashley
Assistant Director
Ashley Edens is a Geography major and enjoys reading fantasy novels (e.g. Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials etc.), biking, doodling, organizing, and eating vegan donuts. She is active in Students For Fair Trade, the Student Labor Action Project, the UW Guatemala Project, No Sweat Seattle, and the Student Action Network. She also does work for Oxfam America.
Kevin
Special Assistant
Kevin Gallagher is pursuing Bachelor of Science double degrees in neurobiology and biology (phsyiology track) with double minors in Medical History and Ethics and Microbiology. He has a prior Bachelor of Arts double major in philosophy and political science. He was born and raised in the Chicago area.
Alex
Assistant
Alex Chauhan is a prospect Architecture major with aims of later completing a dual degree in Construction Management. He is also an officer of UW's own Hip Hop Student Association. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and working on his stencils.
Ron
Assistant
Ronald Smircich is a senior majoring in Microbiology. He grew up in Germany and lived there for several years (his mom is German and she met his father when he was stationed in Germany). Ron can speak German fluently. He travels Europe with his family quite often, since they are big on traveling. He keeps active by running, playing golf, working out and playing ultimate frisbee. In his spare time he likes to cook, play the piano and play video games. Ron is active in the Microbiology club here on campus.

Former Director
C.K. Okoro is a Political Science and Philosophy major. He enjoys playing basketball at the IMA, discussing politics, and playing poker. C.K. is in the UW Film Club.
Elizbet
Former Assistant
Elizabet Wendt is an art major and enjoys tabling in her spare time for Students Taking Action Now for Darfur (STAND). She is also a member of the Sierra Student Coalition and various Jewish organizations. Elizabet enjoys making bread and organic gardening.
Derek
Former Assistant & Graphic Designer
Derek Shiu is a Chinese Students Association member and plays intramural soccer during the spring quarter. He also spends some of his time playing around with Photoshop. He is majoring in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts, with an emphasis on Animation and Digital Graphics. He is also a ping pong addict and played on a club Ultimate Frisbee team.
Carrie
Former Assistant
Carrie Vincler is double majoring in Spanish and International Studies with a focus on Latin America. She loves to travel and is currently involved with the UW Guatemala Project and the Student Labor Action Project. Carrie enjoys watching “Arrested Development” and baking cookies and cakes for friends.
