Running SOTA Meetings (suggestions)
- Send out an e-mail to everyone a week or two ahead for possible items on the agenda
- For meeting topics that apply to all MOTS, have these at the beginning of the meeting
- Topics related only to 1st years or 2nd years should be held at the end, so members do not have to attend to items that are irrelevant to them
- Voting: majority rules
- If volunteers are needed for committees, events, and so on… information should be given ahead of time about responsibilities before members are asked to sign up
- This decreases the pressure to sign up for things on the spot
