What is this crazy gas money deal I’ve been hearing about?
It’s true, we will give you gas money to take up other members!! Here is how it works:
- Driver must be a current member
- Bring at least 2 other current members with you (a total of 3 members, including driver)
- Posting on the facebook message board is not required, but strongly encouraged
- Trips to the Summit at Snoqualmie get $10
- Trips to Stevens Pass and Crystal both get $15
- Trips to Mt. Baker get $20
- There is a $100 limit on the amount of gas money you can claim for the season. We’re here to help out, but not to fund your entire season!
- We will pay out gas money as long as we still have money. This means that it is in your best interest to claim your gas money as soon as possible. We’ll keep the team posted when we’re starting to get low.
- The only way to claim money will be to attend our office hours which are held weekly (once the season gets going) in the HUB. It is neccessary to write down the names of the members you took with you, what mountain you went to, and the date of the trip to get your reimbursement. The Office Hours Schedule times will be posted as the season approaches.
- You NEED to bring a receipt from the gas station to be able to claim your cash. This is crucial.
Why are there so many rules for claiming gas money?
Don’t worry, it’s not as much of a hassle as it might sound like. Having these rules helps make the gas money we provide more accessible for everyone. If you have any questions, contact us.

Where do you guys usually ride?
Steven’s Pass and The Summit at Snoqualmie are where we ride the most. Carpools are pretty evenly split between these two mountains every weekend while they are open. Also, in January we ride Whistler, B.C. for college weekend.
