About me

I am a graduate student working in Prof. Faisal Hossain's SASWE Research Group at University of Washington, Seattle. My research interests include land surface modeling, applications of machine learning in terrestrial remote sensing, numerical weather prediction modeling and geospatial data processing.
Developing web and desktop-based GIS apps fascinate me a lot.

I was a student intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD in Summer'17 under Dr. Sujay V. Kumar, and worked with the Land Information System (LIS) software framework.

I did my undergraduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.

Currently I am investigating the value of weather forecasts from numerical models for hydropower maximization at global scale.
