Being a member of Sigma Kappa is a lifelong experience that provides friendship, personal growth, and academic support. Our sorority is comprised of individuals who have a variety of interests and come from diverse backgrounds. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere for our members to learn, form friendships, and support one another.

Leadership

Leadership and personal growth is very important to our chapter, so we encourage all of our members to become involved in leadership positions, both within Sigma Kappa and on campus.

Our Executive Council is made up of dedicated individuals who work together to make the Sigma Kappa experience fun and rewarding for our members. They plan events, facilitate meetings, and oversee the daily life of the sorority.

Alumnae
Sigma Kappa is not an experience that only lasts during your collegiate years. Rather, membership in Sigma Kappa lasts a lifetime. Our chapter has a strong relationship with our wonderful alumnae. Both our national organization and the University of Washington have recognized our chapter as having the most excellent alumnae relations this past year.

Our chapter holds many events during the year to help connect collegian members with alumnae. Each quarter we hold a career panel at the chapter house where alumnae share their career experiences and give advice about resumes and interviewing. Alumnae also attend our annual Founders' Day celebration, various community service events, ornament exchanges, and game nights. In addition, alumnae support the chapter by serving on Advisory Board and Corporation Board.
