Students for Equal Health (SEH) is a nonprofit organization at the University of Washington in Seattle founded to work toward equality in health and well-being of people around the world. Our goal is the eradication of health disparities locally and globally through elimination of the political, economic, and social determinants of poor health. We aim to achieve this through individual empowerment and collective action. We recognize that inequalities in wealth and power deteriorate health in societies worldwide. We envision health equity as a principal measure of human progress and the foundation for a healthy, sustainable global society rooted in social justice. We intend to facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration between students, faculty, professionals, universities, and community organizations to work toward this end.
Students for Equal Health is a 501(c)(3) organization.
