Profiles

Profiles or graphs are often used to make it easier to understand large quantities of data and the relationship between different parts of the data. Profiles can usually be read more quickly than the raw data that they come from. The most standard of profiles are distance, velocity and acceleration as seen below.

A distance profile is a plot or graph of distance versus time. This type of graph helps to display an objects location as time passes.
A velocity profile is a plot or graph that shows an object's velocity changes over time.
An Acceleration profile is a plot or graph of acceleration versus time. These plots help to show how an object behaves as time passes
