		<description>The lineup of debaters, Driscoll said, helps ensure “this is not just an academic debate but also a practical discourse.”

I&#039;m pretty sure you can&#039;t have &quot;Driscoll&quot; and &quot;academic&quot; in the same sentence. I think it violates a law of logic.

Also, it&#039;s not a particularly fair debate. Driscoll only needs to act like he does when giving a sermon, and everyone watching will instantly realize that the devil is just as literal a being as Driscoll claims (ever wonder how Driscoll seems to know so much about Hell?).

But enough of the ad hominem attacks.

Debates don&#039;t solve anything. They&#039;re about who has the most charisma. In this case, Mark Driscoll.

This is an academic matter being publicly debated by people outside of the field of philosophy yet nightline is for some reason treating them like experts.

Methinks we need some &#039;Free Gandhi&#039; protesters outside this church before the debate...</description>
