Yeah, so maybe my grandparents are rich... My sister mentioned that she wanted to go to Hiroshima... and it was so. Since Mom and Lauren were gonna be here for a grand total of 12 days, we had to make it quick. Ojii had us flying down there into Hiroshima airport, and then we took a tour which took us out to Miyajima and the shrine there. Spent the night in a hotel (ate well) and went on another tour the next day which took us to some of the major sights in Hiroshima proper. Then we took the super-express Shinkansen (bullet train) to Tokyo, which made the journey in just under 4 hours (we only stopped 4 times on the whole journey, which is something like 1000 km)
