Undergraduate Research Leaders, September 2021 - Current

As an undergraduate research leader, I deliver presentations and serve as a point of contact for other undergraduates, in order to get more students interested in and excited about conducting undergraduate research.

Student Leaders for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (SLIDE), July 2020- current

As one of the co-founders of SLIDE, I helped lobby Allen School administration to commit to policies designed to make the UW Computer Science department more diverse and inclusive.

Allen School Student Advisory Council, June 2019 - Current

As the Director of Social Responsibility and an at-large member, I managed several initiatives related to increasing social responsibility in the computer science department at UW. Initiatives I managed included a survey and report about student views on ethics in the Allen School and a speaker series on research being done at the University of Washington into social impacts of technology. I have also assisted with other initiatives and events less directly related to ethics and technology, including running several social events and lobbying departmental administration to increase measures related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Worked as a developer helping to create technical solutions for local nonprofits and social good endeavors. Organizations that I helped to work with included Microsoft’s Small Basic team, FareStart, and Nafundi.

Worked as a software developer to add several features to the PowerClerk software platform, which is used by utility companies to facilitate customer migration to solar and other alternative forms of energy.
