Spring Fling:
Spring Fling will be happening on Saturday, April 22. Derian has submitted the lottery form to the city and we will be notified if we have received our first choice (Ravenna park) by the end of March. Former champions have been contacted to organize the various tournaments, namely rapier, and Madrone is happy to let us use their ropes. We will be asking the culinary guild if they're interested in having a dessert spread similar to last year. Ursula will be organizing the A&S championship -- please contact her if you are interested in entering. Eleanor will be sending out an E-mail about polling for the Light of St. Bunstable, which will be presented at the event, as soon as she has a chance. Muirgheal inghean Alasdair will be donating site tokens and running gate (no site fee). Our only expense should be the $30 to reserve the park shelter. We'll need to get to the site *at least* 30 minutes early to block it off and reserve it as ours -- probably more like a few hours for general setup, etc.

Muirgheal inghean Alasdair will be putting together a newcomer brochure/newsletter for us to give out at the event and organizing a demo/booth on the HUB lawn sometime in the spring to hopefully attract people to the event. She'll keep the list posted. Eleanor and Derian promised her copies of previous brochures we've given out.

Upcoming events:
We also discussed upcoming events to attend. Baronial Arts & Sciences is April 1, and An Tir Heraldic Symposium (not just for heralds!) is April 8. If you're interested in attending feast at either of these events, you should pre-register soon.
