January 2007 Meeting Minutes

Alright, for all of you who are curious about what you missed on Tuesday, here we go.

New business:

1. It was proposed that we moved business meetings amd project nights to the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 6:00. 5 of us thought this was a good idea, but there is still time to weigh in.
2. We began talking about the next scroll for the Light of St. Bunstable. Ursula has some leads on the design.
3. Some ideas for future project nights: going back to Paint the Town and working on Charters
4. On Thursday, Jan. 25 at 7:00, we will meet at Muirgheal's to try out the rest of the recipes to be used for the feast.

Feast of St. Bunstable business:

1. We will be having a plethora of classes, topics include garb, fencing, dancing, and heraldry.
2. We still need someone to be in charge of the kitchen on Feast Day. Prep work will be handled mostly by Muirgheal, but as she is autocratting, it will to too much to coordinate cooking day of.
3. Muirgheal proposed allowing UW students not in St. Bunstable a discount with valid ID to promote SCA activity on campus. I wrote down $7, but I'm wondering if she actually said $5. This would include admission and feast.
4. For site tokens, we found a site that sells glass beads that look like grape clusters. It seems to currently lead the other ideas (venetian beads, relics) in popularity.
