Royal Victoria Yacht Club is located in Cadboro Bay, Vancouver Island, BC.  Guest moorage is on V dock, the very last dock past the end of the breakwater.

Length of Stay

2 days free per year. Additional days charged at CDN$0.50 per foot. Maximum 4 total days per visit. Maximum 4 total days per month. Maximum 14 total days per year.

Procedures

Upon arrival, register at the Foreshore office, the Club office, or the bar in the clubhouse.  A CDN$10 deposit is required for the gate key.  You must fly your burgee at all times.  Canadian customs can be reached by dialing 1-888-226-7277.

Amenities

• Water. Power. Garbage pickup.

• Washrooms, shower, laundry, and ice available in the Foreshore Building.

• Club house. Club bar open every evening.

• Boat repair on an emergency basis.

• Public telephones. Customs.

• Public transportation is just off the RVYC property on Beach Drive at Ripon Road. Use Uplands Bus #11 to take you to shopping, liquor store, medical centre, hospital, and downtown Victoria.  Exact change required.

• Cadboro Bay Shopping Centre and Gyro Park are at the head of Cadboro Bay which can be reached by tender or by walking less than 1 mile.  The centre offers a supermarket, hardware store, pharmacy, restaurant, bookstore, and pub but no liquor store.

• Fuel, marine supplies, ways, and marina are available in Oak Bay, approximately 1.5 miles by water or road.
