Corinthian Yacht Club

Location

Corinthian Yacht Club is located at Shilshole Bay Marina, just outside the Ballard Locks. This is a large full service marina. The clubhouse is between S & T docks, so approach between S & T docks.   Do not moor in the slip to the west of the club house; it is reserved for the committee boat! See the Procedures section for specific registration details. Additional moorage may be available at member's slips during their absence, these are identified on the board next to the registration box.  Moorage is available on the North side of the Shilshole clubhouse, which is on the North side of S-dock.

Length of Stay

Limited to 48 hours, unless prior arrangements have been made at the clubhouse, which is open 1200 to 1800 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Procedures

If you tie up to the clubhouse, you can get a key, for the S-Dock gate and M6 bathroom, from the lockbox near the lower entrance of the club. See the CYC Club Manager in the Club Office  or call the Manager at 206-789-1919 for the combination of the lockbox. If no answer, call the Fleet Captain, Cruise, at 206-850-7664 or the Marina Harbormaster on VHF Channel 17. If  there is no room at the clubhouse, hail the Shilshole Bay Marina Harbormaster and ask for a guest berth, pay the fee, keep the receipt, and request the CYC reimbursement form.  Fill out the form, circle your yacht club's name on the form and sign it.  Put the form in a self addressed envelope along with the your moorage receipt, leave it in the club house mail slot and you may get reimbursed (depending on available funds).

Amenities

• Restrooms. Showers. Telephone. Pumpout. Laundry (at "J" dock). Fuel.

• Guests may use the facilities in the clubhouse during the times the clubhouse is open. The bar is open whenever racing is conducted and on Friday evenings. A regular lunch is held at noon on most Mondays (excluding holidays). Dress is casual.

• City services - Two marine stores are just south of the marina, Metro buses depart regularly from the Port near the "J" dock. Bus schedule available in the registration box.
