WYC Executive Policy
Executive Council Policy are motions made at club
meetings that do
not concern buying/selling, club positions or other specific request type of
motions. These motions are specified as Executive Council Policy motions when
they are made at the meeting and are entered as such in the
minutes. In
addition there are copies of Exec Policy sent via email when there are
new policies, and copies kept in the Club Office, the Sail Locker
folder with the By-Laws and Constitution, and on the Web.

Any chief who has a rigging rating can then give that rigging rating to
any other member with the provision that the chief must also be the
appropriate specialty chief if applicable. |

The club shall maintain a fleet of no less than
four Hobie 16 catamarans. Allowances to this policy are made when buying and
selling boats in accordance with the policy. |

WYC owned email lists must use their real and full name when subscribing

WYC owned email lists shall follow the following rules:
- no cross posting between WYC lists
- no foul language
- no threats to individuals or groups
The list administrator
shall carry out a three strikes policy for violations of these rules. After
three strikes the list administrator shall block postings from the
violator. The violator has the right to appeal being blocked to the
Executive Council. |

locker codes will be given to non-members or members not currently
holding a valid WYC rating. Those found in non-compliance will face a
potential 2 week suspension of sailing privileges. |
