Gain Experience in Archives!
Directed Fieldwork
Directed Fieldwork experiences are for-credit internships that MLIS students with at least 30 completed credits can participate in. They are an excellent way to get first-hand experience working with archives in the area, and are spoken of highly by current students and alumni.
Here are a few examples of places where students have gained archival experiences through Directed Fieldwork, although there are many possibilities. For more information about Directed Fieldwork, please visit the iSchool's Directed FieldWork page.
