Lambda Phi EpsilonLphiE: AZ Chaper: University of Washington

We, the members of Lambda Phi Epsilon National Fraternity, strive to promote Asian American Awareness in our surrounding communities through the promotion of Asian American interest activities. Such events, include philanthropic causes, educating the community, and preserving Asian American culture.

Since our inception, Lambda Phi Epsilon's goals have been to exemplify the highest standards of Academic Performance, Social Experience, Service to the Community, and most importantly Brotherhood among its members.

Lambda Phi Epsilon is composed of diverse members with different backgrounds and areas of studies. Our brotherhood forms a network of resources and support that aids in each others pursuit of academic excellence and personal growth.

Lambda Phi Epsilon National Fraternity was founded on February 25,1981 , by nineteen dedicated men of varying ethnicity at the University of California Los Angeles. Seeing the need to for an organization that bridges the various ethnic clubs on campus, Lambda Phi Epsilon was founded on the principle goals of Eternal Brotherhood, Unity between people of different ethnicity, and Philanthropy for the Asian community, both on and off campus.

Currently, Lambda Phi Epsilon has thousands of members spread over 48 chapters. The expansion into the Pacific Northwest began on February 14, 1999, with 12 devoted University of Washington students. At over 100 members, the Alpha Zeta Chapter has become the largest and most prolific Asian interest fraternity on the UW campus.

Every Chapter of Lambda Phi Epsilon strives to continue the traditions that our original founders set forth, as well as enriching the college experience, by forming friendships and connections for the rest of your life. Through Lambda Phi Epsilon you will develop lifelong Brotherhood and learn to challenge every aspect of yourself to become the best individual you can be.

One of the many foundations of Lambda Phi Epsilon is Philanthropy, for the Asian community both on campus and off. Our National Philanthropy is our annual registering for the Asian American Donor Program (AADP). This helps promote awareness for leukemia and other blood disorders for those of Asian decent, whose patients require bone marrow transplants. Their best hope for a matched donor is those within their ethnicity. The more people that register, the better the chances of finding a match for those in need. Locally, other chapters participate in community services, and
our chapter is no different. Some of the other
community services that we participate in are:

Walk for Rice
Adopt-a-Street: Chinatown
Hiroshima for Hope
Habitat for Humanity
...and more!

Another foundation of Lambda Phi Epsilon is that we strive to enrich the college experience. While we do stress the importance of academic achievements, we also know the importance of having a good time, meeting new people and developing relationships that go beyond college.. College is a short time in one’s life and should be taken full advantage of.

Every years Lambda Phi Epsilon is involved in club promotions, house parties and venue parties, such as our annual Halloween Party.

Additionally, we have frequent brotherhood events, and exchanges with sororities throughout the year.
