About me

Hi! I am a fourth year PhD candidate in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. I am advised by Dr. Gary Hsieh. My research area includes human-computer interaction and conversational user interface design. I'm interested in studying how conversational interfaces can improve health and well-being. Recently, I interned at Facebook in the summer of 2021.

Previously, I received my bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Studio Arts from the University of Rochester. I conducted research in the ROC HCI Lab where I was supervised by Dr. Ehsan Hoque. During my time there, I worked to design and implement an application to remotely collect and analyze motor symptoms of individuals living with Parkinson's disease.
