Ryan Benson is an undergradute student at the University of Washington, majoring in political science and minoring in general architectural studies. This wasn't his first pick of majors, his main areas of knowledge are computers, mathematics, and engineering. From an early age he wanted to attend the University to study what he learned to be computer science. But a rocky-road lead to not being able to study computer science or it's sister program, informatics.
During the academic year, Ryan works at the Access Technology Lab, located on Mary Gates Hall. The lab provides computer resources for students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. Ryan is the lead Braille transcriber for the Access Technology Lab, as well as some web design.
