About
The Khmer Conversational Group (KCG) was established in January 2003 at the University of Washington, Seattle by two motivated students, Phatry Pan and Sophy Rim. KCG's mission is to provide a platform where Khmer speaking individuals can come together to interact and communicate in the language. Each 90-minute session uphold this mission through the integration of lively discussions and activities.

Participants
The demographical background of our participants (KCG'ers) are wide in diversity. Our median age is at 20-years-old, starting as young as 15 to 32. Educational background range from junior high school to graduate students, however, undergraduate students dominates. In terms of geographical location, KCG'ers come from all locales: California, Canada, Florida, but the majority reside within the Puget Sound area of western Washington.
