One
of the few decent 24-hour joints in town, Stella's is part
of the family of Italian restaurants that started with Trattoria
Mitchelli. The lively, cheerfully-decorated restaurant, conveniently
located near the multiplex Metro Cinemas, has four distinct
sections on different levels, and the small waiting area is
positioned strategically in front of the dessert case. The
pastas and marsala entrTes are fine, the dinner rolls crusty
and filling, but save room for cheesecake! Stop in Stella's
Trattoria for a place that serves Italian dishes. |

Folk,
jazz and bluegrass performers add to the ambience at this
Latteland (as Seattle is known) landmark, which boasts hardwood
floors and couches for lounging. "Baristas don't think
twice about throwing out a flawed espresso shot and trying
again for perfection. That's why the espresso drinks, particularly
the Americanos, are so sublime." 206-545-4277. |

At
Trader Joe's, our mission is to bring all our customers the
best food and beverage values to be found anywhere, and the
information to make informed buying decisions. There are more
than 2000 unique grocery items in our label, all at great
everyday low prices. We work hard at buying things right:
Our buyers travel the world searching for new items; we work
with a variety of suppliers who make interesting products
for us, many of them exclusive to Trader Joe’s; and
we make special purchases which are presented to us throughout
the year. All our private label products have their own "angle,"
i.e., vegetarian, Kosher, organic or just plain decadent,
and all minimally processed ingredients. |

Our
breads are made from high-protein whole wheat that is certified
chemical free by the Montana State University in Bozeman.
We stone-grind this grain into fresh flour in our bakeries
daily and combine it with other natural wholesome ingredients
to create solid, old-fashioned whole wheat breads. With few
exceptions our breads contain no added oils, fats, milk, or
eggs, which is why they last on your counter even though they
contain no preservatives. Whole-grain breads are a rich source
of carbohydrates and fiber that satisfies both body and soul. |

Ritchey
maintains a philosophy of designing lightweight and functional
high performance products to enhance the riding experience.
Many Ritchey products start as an idea that pops up in the
middle of a ride, or a call from one of his world class racers.
Regardless of how or where an idea is conceived, Ritchey is
committed to the belief that lightweight, but reliable, is
the key to performance. By scrutinizing vulnerable points
of a design and exposing their "Achilles Heel,"
Ritchey can design around weaknesses and deliver lighter,
stronger and faster components. |
