michael queen, president
Born in Utah, Michael came to Washington while serving in the United Stated Navy at a base in Bremerton, WA. After six years of military service, he enrolled in a local community college and later transfered to the University of Washington where he now double-majors in Communications (Journalism) and Business Administration (Marketing). He aims to work in government PR and has a wife and toddler son at home. What free time he has is usually spent with his family.email michael

deeckla eretz-kedosha, vice president
Deeckla Eretz-Kedosha is the Vice President of the UW's PRSSA chapter and a senior in the Communications major. She has been focusing on public relations not only through her studies but through professional experiences. Deeckla's public relations internship experiences include Publicis Consultants | PR, a public relations agency, and Seattle's The 5th Avenue Theatre. She has also had a marketing internship with Gilmore Research Group. She has owned her own newsletter business, at which she maximized the effectiveness of content and layout in relation to each of her clients' needs. She was also Features Editor of student newspaper The Jibsheet. Lastly, she has been a teacher and leader to elementary school students for seven years. Coma Te, born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, is currently a senior at the University of Washington, studying Communications and Environmental Science and Resource Management. Te is currently interning with the Seattle Theatre Group serving as a marketing and public relations assistant. Te’s interests include Food, Travel and Dance, typically in that order. He will be studying abroad in Rome, Italy Winter Quarter 2008.Te’s favorite quote is “If you cry because the sun has set in your life, your tears will prevent you from seeing the stars.” He interprets this quote as meaning to always look for the light in a dark situation, and to realize that things happen for a reason, that what happens now, necessarily does not dictate what happens in the future. email coma |

Hi, my name is Whitney Biaggi and I am the Publicity Chair for UW's PRSSA Chapter. I am originally from Lake Tahoe, Nevada and moved to Seattle three years ago to attend UW. I am planning to graduate (if all goes well) at the end of the year with a degree in journalism and a minor in political science. Right now, I work in marketing and public relations for the campus newspaper, The Daily. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career in public relations or print journalism. Hi, my name is Kailey Tollefson and I am the webmaster and PR firm director for UW's PRSSA Chapter. I graduated from Issaquah High School . I am graduating next fall with a degree in communications and a minor in political science. I just completed an internship at Children's Hospital in Community and Government Relations and Advocacy. My name is Lauren Riefflin and I hold the Secretary position for our PRSSA chapter. I was born in Newport Beach, CA but grew up in Sammamish, WA and graduated from Eastlake High School. I am currently a junior pursuing a Communications degree here at the University of Washington and am interested in working in the public relations and event planning industries as my future career. While studies take up a majority of my time, I also work as a Client Services Specialist at ek Real Estate Group and am a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. I am a very ambitious, fun-loving and adventurous person that values my goals, friends and family to the highest extent. I enjoy sports, being outdoors and relaxing with the people I love as much as possible. Hi, my name is Amy Graham and I am the historian this year for PRSSA. I am currently a sophomore here at UW. I am originally from Tacoma Washington. I am currently on the path to obtain a degree in communications with a focus on public relations. I work as a server for a cruise company which has started my interest in event planning. I am an active member of the Kappa Delta sorority where I have met some wonderful girls I am happy to call my best friends. All my life my passion has been performing.
