2014-2015 Editors

Fiona is a super senior double majoring in French and Anthropology with a minor in Global Health.  Her interests include the politics of reproduction, queer reproduction, embodiment, and feminist methodologies.  In her spare time, you can find her lifting heavy weights, playing Bananagrams, and pondering the future.

Elijah is a senior in the Department of Geography at the University of Washington. His interests include feminist and urban geographies, as well as issues relating to food security and sovereignty. In his (very limited) free time he enjoys watching Husky athletics and daydreaming.

Stella is a junior geography major. She is interested in feminist, urban and political geographies and more generally, issues of social justice and inequality. On the weekends you can find her skiing, kayaking or eating.

Koji is a Junior at the University of Washington majoring in Geography and Comparative History of Ideas. His main interests are in issues of poverty and privilege in the United States, urban geographies, as well as geographies of development. He is a tutor for the Odegaard Research and Writing Center and hopes to become a teacher in some capacity after he graduates. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and spending time with friends.

Shamelle is a Senior and double anthropology major in the medical anthropology and global health and human evolutionary biology tracks. She believes that the intersection between our physical and social geographies and our culture and biology informs our health. She is particularly interested in immigrant, refugee and prisoner health, racial and ethnic health disparities, reproductive health, and strategies of resistance and resilience. Her other interests include traveling, writing, the visual, performing, and cinematic arts, and period dramas.
