•       Theoretical determination of guiding principles for design of first-order phase change magnetocaloric effect materials.

•       Synthesis and characterization of Heusler alloys with tunable transition temperatures, entropy change.

•       Analysis of the effect of hysteresis on magnetocaloric effect – demonstrate the thermodynamic equivalence of temperature and magnetic field.
