"Writing Worlds: A Panel Discussion on Writing Across Disciplines"

This roundtable discussion will revolve around a panel of individuals from various departments in the College of Arts and Sciences': including instructors who integrate writing with dance, computer technology, foreign language, film studies, and the humanities. Our aim is to explore the ways in which writing is taught in multiple disciplines and to elucidate areas of commonality and contention. Moderated by Shawna Shapiro, a PhD student who has taught academic writing in both the UW English Language Programs and the English Department.
