"Tech Friendly? Tech Curious?: Technology in Traditional Classrooms"

Instructors from the tech curious to the tech savvy are invited to this roundtable discussion on integrating technology into course and assignment design in traditional classrooms. Tim Welsh and Melanie Kill will present an overview of resources available to UW students and instructors, talk about how they each use technology in various courses, and facilitate a discussion focusing on practical and effective uses of technology in teaching and
collaborative learning. Please come with questions and experiences to share.

Melanie Kill is a Doctoral Candidate in English, an Assistant Director of the Expository Writing Program, and an experienced CIC instructor. Tim Welsh is a graduate student in English and Assistant Director of the Computer Integrated Courses (CIC) Program.
