About Me
My name is Michael Jongseon Lee and I am currently a first year PhD student at the Information School
at the University of Washington
. I am being advised by Andrew Ko
and I am a member of the DUB group
.
I received my Masters of Information Management and Systems (MIMS) and Management of Technology (MOT) certificate from UC Berkeley
in 2009. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and Human-Computer Interaction from UC San Diego
in 2005.
My major area of focus is in human-computer interaction (HCI). Within that field, I am interested in how people interact with, create, and understand software and how the hardware they use to do these things may play a role in these activities. More specifically, I am interested about how physical computing devices could aid beginners in understanding programming concepts.
