Knives have great historic significance as one of man/womankind's most basic tools. My interest lies primarily in folding pocket knives. As an engineering student, I am fascinated by the various mechanisms, complex machining, and grinding that goes into producing a quality pocket knife. The designs that appeal to me are ones that seamlessly meld aesthetic beauty, and robust function. Click here to see some of my Pocket Knives
My interest in pocket knives prompted a desire to learn more about working with metals. I have become interested in how various materials can be formed and shaped to create a complete composition. During Summer 2000, I took ART 258, Intro to Metals, which focused on jewelry deisign. Click here to see some of my Jewelry Projects.
