Goals for MIC./ To expand the club's active participation within the UW community by increasing club members. During the early years of the club's establishment, the passion and devotion towards developing the club into a place where fellow islanders from the Micronesia (and now, expanding out towards any person interested in learning about a new culture) can be able to meet and keep their traditions alive thousands of miles away from home, was exceptionally strong. Reviving the club and bringing it back to its roots and what it once was, is my ultimate goal for this school year.

Goals for Micronesia./ "My ultimate goal for the annual celebration of "Micronesia" is to not only celebrate the heritage, culture, and traditions of the Micronesian Islands, but the raise awareness of ever-growing environmental concerns (especially those that affect the Micronesia directly) and promote sustainability within the island communities. Our islands, our past, and our future will only continuing being if the future generations of our home will focus on achieving a greener home. Our environment is what makes our islands so beautiful.
