UW Medlife

Are you interested in gaining practical experience in the areas of medicine, social justice, or community development? If you are, a MEDLIFE mobile clinic may be for you!

This September, MEDLIFE UW Chapter will travel to Lima, Peru from September 3-11 to participate in a week-long mobile clinic. Participants will have the chance to learn about healthcare systems in Peru, shadow doctors, and help with a community development project. The application deadline is July 2, and we need participants! If you’re interested, please visit the MEDLIFE website for more information and to apply.

The 2011-2012 Officer Application is now open!  Here are the positions available for the oncoming year:

Education and Membership Chair:  Keep track of membership, help construct education projects, work on public upkeeping on campus and advertising events.

Fundraising Chair:  Keep track and handle club funds and expenses.  Primary responsible is to manage events and fundraising projects.

Mobile Clinic Coordinator: Time consuming, arrange and coordinate with Medlife and travel agency to organize brigade.

Webmaster:  we are currently using WordPress to run our website, no prior experience necessary but preferred.
