We are a club at the University of Washington, facilitating weekly discussions where individuals can debate and discuss current issues in bioethics.  We hope these discussions help our members and the public gain a better understanding of the ethical ramifications at play in these modern issues.

We love to have many different view points when we have discussions - all majors and backgrounds are welcome. If you'd like to learn more about ethics or talk about serious issues, come join us!

Welcome to the Medical Ethics Discussion for Interdisciplinary Collaboration at the University of Washington (MEDIC at UW).

Spring 2016 meetings will be held on Mondays from 5:00-6:30pm in HST T498

Welcome to MEDIC Spring Quarter! Our upcoming meeting (4/6) will be a special discussion on ethical questions in medical school interviews. We will provide questions to go over as a group, but you're also encouraged to bring your own. This is a great opportunity for pre-health students to get exposure to the kinds of questions they will be asked as well as practice thinking through how to answer them. This meeting is open to everyone, so tell your friends!
