Community Relations
Reaching out to the community is a big part of the UW MBA program. Last year, through Challenge for Charity UW MBA students volunteered hundreds of hours for the Special Olympics and Boys & Girls Clubs of King County.
In addition, the Annual University of Washington Challenge for Charity Auction, held on February 9, 2008, raised almost $180,000 with the help and support of the students, alumni, faculty, staff and guests of the UW MBA Program.
Being a part of the business community means giving back to the larger social community on which every business is founded.
Although many students in the program are already service oriented through Challenge for Charity, there are additional community service opportunities available in the Seattle area. Below are links to information about such opportunities for UW MBA students that may be of interest to you.
