Elizabeth Lewis

President

I am a senior, majoring in Philosophy of Math, Philosophy, and History and Philosophy of Science. I am especially interested in logic, set theory and foundations of math. I will be graduating in June of 2012. I hope to study logic and philosophy of math in grad school in a few years.

I am also involved in the Lyceum, the philosophy club at UW, and the UW Secular Student Union. When I'm not studying, I like to sketch, sew and swim.

I am a sophomore majoring in Math and Computer Science. When not doing math, I like to read novels, jog around U District, or drink coffee at downtown Seattle.

I'm one of Seattle's many caffeine connoisseurs. Whether it's for entertainment or study, I will be consuming some sort of caffeinated beverage. I enjoy walks on the beach, with a cup of coffee; the odd math problem, after a cup of chai; and eating out, drinking something fizzy. I find caffeine to be especially useful to me when I'm making progress towards my Applied Math and Computational Sciences degree and I've used it to propel myself to senior status. When I'm not drinking a caffeinated drink, I like to spend my time thinking about coffee and occasionally sleeping - dreaming about a grande chai tea latte.
