We hope you're enjoying your new life here at the University of Washington. Here are some useful information on legal issues that you might need to know while in America.Report to the Malaysian Student Department (MSD), Los Angeles
Any Malaysian student studying in the USA should report to the MSD offices in the country. There are three MSD main offices in total. For those studying at UW, they should report to the MSD office in LA. This is to ensure the well being of each student and to assist the students in any case of emergencies. Immigration Issues & Working Permits
To find out more about issues on immigration and working permits, please visit the UW International Services Office (ISO) site. ISO advisers are assigned to you based on your last name. If you're going out of the country, REMEMBER to get a signature of an adviser from the ISO office on your I-20 form before you go, otherwise you might run into problems coming back into the country. The ISO office is located at Schmitz Hall. content and design copyright © 2007 MSA UW unless specified otherwise
