Nationally, Lambda Chi Alpha has abolished hazing and “pledging” with the Associate Member period. Our open motto is Vir Quisque Vir, directly translated to mean “Every Man a Man.” Brotherhood is not established through hazing, but rather should be fostered through a variety of productive challenges and genuine social interactions. Lambda Chi Alpha is one of the largest men’s general fraternities in North America. The youngest of the 20 national social fraternities, Lambda Chi Alpha has initiated over 270,000 members at more than 300 universities.

Our University of Washington chapter now has 48 members and is growing every year. We are constantly advancing the college experience for each new member as they grow from men to TRUE Brothers. The Alpha-Psi chapter offers numerous alumni connections and networking opportunities. Each brother lives with all of their best friends for four years while enjoying an awesome social calendar. With a focus on academics and a little philanthropy on the side, Lambda Chi Alpha is constantly developing as men and brothers alike. We have seen over 2,000 members in over 90 years as a constant chapter on the Washington campus.  Be sure to check out our Facebook page for current information and what’s going on with our house now!
