Q: Why did the name of the club change?
A: Pre-Law Society, International was increasing their membership dues. Creating a new, separate pre-law club allowed us to set a much lower membership fee so that more students are able to join!
Q: How do I join the pre-law society?
A: Join our e-mail list, come to our meetings, pick up an application form, fill it out, and submit it to our secretary, Anisa Khaleel, at one of our meetings.
Q: Will there be any philanthropic opportunities or other volunteer events?
A: Yes. There will be at least one philanthropic event per quarter. The pre-law society is also an active participant of Relay for Life.
Q: How can I get more involved with the pre-law society?
A: The best way to get involved is to join a committee. We have the following committees: Fundraising, Professional, Social, and Philanthropy.
Q: Does being a member of the pre-law society help my resume?
A: Yes, being an
active member of the pre-law society is a great thing to add to your resume! Active members attend meetings and events, as well as serving on one of our committees. Being on a committee will not only give you the full pre-law society experience, but it will boost your resume to increase your chances of law school admission.

Offers students the opportunity to hear from law school students, law school professors, practicing attorneys, judges, etc.
