I'm a doctoral student in the Information School at the University of Washington under the mentorship of Jevin West, Josh Blumenstock, and Emma Spiro of the DataLab. Broadly, my current research interests include using large-scale, high-dimensional data to better understand social dynamics. An example of this work can be seen with the Coursector project.
Before joining the Information School, I conducted research in the areas of spine biomechanics and computer device design. Previously, I was a research engineer at the University of Washington's Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences (2014) and a Whitaker International Research Fellow at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2013). I previously graduated from the University of Washington at the graduate (2012) and undergraduate levels (2011).
