Korean Student Association @ University of Washington

Mission Statement

The University of Washington Korean Student Association (KSA) provides an avenue for students with common interests to enhance their college experience through interacting in a social cultural and political environment. Through volunteering, KSA fosters unity among students and the community by raising awareness in individuals regarding Korean culture. The primary purpose of KSA is to allow opportunities for students to come together and participate in social activities and community events to diversify their education.

President's Message

My name is Jonathan Kim, your KSA president for this new and exciting academic year. My goal this year is to make KSA more member-friendly and accessible. The KSA officer group is focused on reaching out to our members. Don't be afraid to contact us, email us, talk to us on campus, or even facebook chat.

To facilitate this new focus, we have introduced a new venue of networking called "KSA Interest Groups." If you have interests and want to meet others, this is your perfect chance to explore your interests deeper alongside others who share your common interests. These interests can range from sports, food, media, entertainment, and all other walks of life. We have hopes that these groups become long lasting and promote the truer interests of our members.

Annual Kimbap Night!

The Korean Student Association presents our annual kimbap night!

You will get a chance to create your own authentic kimbap from scratch with the help of officers, and you'll also get a chance to meet other members and know more about KSA officers!

This event is free, however, we kindly accept donations that will go towards our Korean Culture Night, and other future KSA sponsored events!
