I started working with the Patagonian scallop (Zygochlamys patagonica) in 1995, one year before the starting of the commercial fishery in the Argentinian shelf. At that time I was working as an undergraduate in the analysis of bychath of the fishery. In 1998 I started working as fishery observer in the scallop commercial fishery and also as onboard technician on scallop surveys. After graduation I was hired as consultant-investigator to study growth of Z. patagonica. In the SAFS, my Master's Thesis focus in the study of spatial and temporal variation in growth of this scallop.
