Ongoing development for UW Presenter classroom presentation software in collaboration with Microsoft Research’s ConferenceXP project. Investigated methods of using recognition of annotational marks to extrapolate information from lecture content. Redmond, WA Software Design Engineer Intern n Architected data transfer structures between User Interface and the back-end database for DealPoint, Microsoft’s Version 1 web-based Enterprise business application. Extensive development in Visual Basic, XML, ASP, COM+, and SQL. Mentored by Daniel Moore (Program Manager) and David Spangler (Dev Lead).
	June 2000 – March 2001 Microsoft Corp. Redmond, WA Software Test Engineer Intern n Worked on the SharePoint Portal Server product as a web-tools developer. Learned many new aspects and tools of website development, including JavaScript. Ran Acceptance and Usability tests between SharePoint and Windows Millennium and Office XP. 	2004 – 2005, Vice – Chair Association for Computing Machinery, UW Chapter, Seattle, WA 1998 – Present, Donor Registration and Monitor Volunteer/ New Volunteer Trainer Puget Sound Blood Center, Bellevue, WA Register donors in the Puget Sound Blood Center database and start donors on the blood giving process. Monitor donors for adverse medical reactions after they have given blood. Also, I train new volunteers for FDA certification in using the registration computer system at the Puget Sound Blood Center and monitoring donors after they have given blood. 1999 – Present, Webmaster Volunteer Whispering Heights & Collingwood Community Association, Bellevue, WA Develop website for Whispering Heights & Collingwood Community Association, a non-profit neighborhood association.
