This application was written by Scott Shawcroft and me. It's purpose is a proof-of-concept media player of annodex'ed files. Annodexed files are OGG audio/video streams which include chapter information within the files. This allows for identifying particular sections of the media; this media player reads the annodexed information, which is then displayed to the user and also allows the user to skip to particular chapters of the media.
It is written in Python and uses PyGTK for the GUI. The multimedia backend is GStreamer. Development is on-going and began in December 2005.
