I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Washington at Seattle. My Ph.D committee chair (advisor) is Prof. Peter W. Johnson. I joined UW ISE Ph.D program in September 2008 after I received my Master's degree from the department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Research Interests

Generally speaking: Ergonomics and Applied Statistics

Current focus:

  • Assessing muscle fatigue during compter use to prevent musculoskeletal injuries
    • Developing non-invasive computer exposure assessment tools to proactively detect physiological changes
    • Modeling computer digital signals to predict muscle fatigue durign computer use
Other interests:
  • Baysian mothods in occupational exposure sciences
  • Multivariate modeling methods to monitor the complex sytems such as semiconductor production processes, healthcare systems, etc.
