I am a third year Ph.D. student in Biostatistics working with Noah Simon. I work on a variety of statistical/machine-learning methods with applications to medical and biological science, including penalization methods and survival analysis, and, more recently, neural networks. In addition, I collaborate with Erick Matsen at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center on developing methods for molecular sequence data. Our current work is on analyzing DNA mutation rates in the immune system and improving cell lineage tracing.

I graduated from Stanford University with a BS and MS in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. I previously worked as a software developer at Coursera.
