CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON - PUBLIC LIBRARY
The library welcomes volunteers for both one-time projects and on an on-going basis.  There are a wide variety of opportunities available in the areas of circulation, readers’ services, technical services, administration, and special projects. OREGON HISTORICAL SOCIETY
A variety of volunteer opportunities are available including help with visitor and children’s services and behind-the-scenes work that may be of particular interest to iSchool students such as: Reference Assistants (assist visitors in the Research Library with finding information in the vertical files and microfilming and photocopying), Library Volunteers (work on various projects including cataloging, organizing and summarizing vertical files and processing collections of photos and manuscripts), Publications Assistants (work on Oregon Historical Quarterly and the Oregon Encyclopedia by researching, fact-checking and general administrative support). CANBY PUBLIC LIBRARY

FORT VANCOUVER REGIONAL LIBRARY
Volunteers are needed as Computer Class Assistants. Librarians who teach computer classes need volunteers to assist by helping students that are struggling to keep the class on pace and by working with students who need more one-on-one help. Contact: Sherry Braga, 360-699-8812, volunteer@fvrl.org


BEAVERTON CITY LIBRARY
The library offers a variety of positions for all types of interests! PORTLAND CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
Volunteers play a critical part in delivering the Museum's mission: to inspire imagination, creativity and the wonder of learning in children and adults by inviting moments of shared discovery. At Portland Children's Museum volunteers play with children, ensure their safety, help to build and maintain exhibits, explore art with families, read stories, welcome people to the Museum, help in the offices, and offer their time and skills in many other ways. CLARK COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM
The generous contribution of thousands of hours by volunteers allows the museum to be properly staffed and to work successfully on preservation projects and special events. New volunteers are always welcome and the museum works to match the interests and available time of individual volunteers with museum needs. Volunteer activities include textile workshops and collection care, archaeological training and collection work, library research, costumed interpretation, docents for school tours, a school traveling trunk program, greeters for special museum fundraising events, public outreach at community events, development, marketing, museum, or membership committee participation. CORNELIUS PUBLIC LIBRARY
Volunteers work in the library shelving material, preparing new material for circulation, pulling material to fill holds and sorting through donations.
