I agree with Jasper -- although I would to add iProjobs too. Some jobs come through on there that could be part time or contract work.

Your nervousness is because you are doing something new in a new environment. That's only normal and will fade away when the first days and weeks pass.

As far as behavior goes:
- Always be polite and respectful to your new colleagues.
- Remember the following proverb/saying: "Speaking is silver, silence is gold", meaning that it is wise to listen to others before speaking yourself (in this case your new and experienced colleagues). But also feel confident to add to the conversation.

2009-06-10 Can anyone share successful interview tactics?

As I'm still searching for an internship I started to analyze the feedback from my interviews in order to understand why my efforts are without success so far.

I see myself as a technically skilled information professional capable of working independently as well as in/with teams, and that is how I present myself during interviews. But I get turned down on not having the specific technical skills for some of these positions (or not being able to present them in a convincing manner). My technical skill ba...

I am not really qualified to answer ..but i would mention two things...
First ..try to project that you can learn the new technology or skills u r asked in the job ..(if u think u can)
Second and may be the most important one...try to bring relevant project experiences that might demonstrate your skills that are similar to the job you are applying to ... I have tried these and it worked for me.
