Yes, there are some rules

These rules are designed to enhance your Q&AIMS experience.

  1. Please be respectful of your colleagues. The information you post will be on a publicly available website. Refrain from profanity.
  2. No spam, pornography, or advertisements allowed.
  3. Please keep the posts to school specific topics intended to be answered by the MSIM community.
  4. Please put thought into your answers. The goal is to provide helpful information and opinions to your classmates' questions. *

* Example:
Q: How did you like IMT 509?
A: Overall the class provided me with very pertinent information about metadata and its importance. The structure of the class allowed for thoughtful discussions and encouraged group activities. I really enjoyed the final project of tagging an information system. The only negative I would say is that the readings were a little dry.
Versus:
Q: How did you like IMT 509?
A: It was good.

Posts that violate the above rules (especially #1 and #2) will be removed by the judgment of the AIMS Technology Officer.
