Q&AIMS is the best way for you, a current or prospective UW MSIM student, to get your questions about the program, learning areas, careers, and life after the program answered by those who know best, other current and former MSIM students. The goal for this service is to facilitate real, honest exchange of information that is important to MSIM students. You can be of assistance both to your fellow cohort members and to future MSIM students by participating in Q&AIMS and offering your experience to others.
The need for Q&AIMS stemmed from an abundance of "Official Answers" and an absence of the honest exchange of knowledge between students in the MSIM program.
Q&AIMS was developed originally as a student project in Bob Boiko's INFX 562 class as a community-building and knowledge-sharing tool for students in the UW MSIM program, and is currently maintained by the AIMS technology group.
